Do you handle Sharm El Sheikh airport pickups?
Yes. We arrange private pickups from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH) to every resort area in Sharm, from Hadaba and Naama Bay to Nabq Bay, at a fixed price per car. Book yours on our Arrival page and pay online: the payment confirms it.
Is Sharm Connect family-friendly?
Yes. We deliberately do not list nightclubs, bars, booze cruises, casinos, or mixed-nude beaches. Every excursion, service and property is family-appropriate so you can book without worrying about what you'll find.
Can I book excursions from my hotel?
Yes. Book from any tour page: choose your date and the number of people, then pay online by card. Your tour is confirmed as soon as you pay, and if we ever have to cancel it, we refund you in full. Each tour page lists what is included, such as hotel pickup.
What currencies can I pay in?
You can see prices in US dollars, euros, pounds sterling or Egyptian pounds with the currency menu at the top. Airport pickups are priced and paid in US dollars, online by PayPal or card.
Do I pay now or on the day?
Airport pickups are paid online when you book, by PayPal or card, and your booking is confirmed as soon as you pay. Tours are paid online by card when you book, and your tour is confirmed as soon as you pay. Home service requests take no payment online: we send you availability and a quote first.
Are your guides and drivers English-speaking?
Many drivers and guides in Sharm speak English, but we cannot promise it for every trip. Tell us the language you need when you send your request, and we will tell you before your trip what we can arrange.
Can foreigners buy property in Sharm El Sheikh?
Not as owners. Presidential Decree 128 of 2022 lets only Egyptians and companies fully owned by Egyptians own land and buildings in Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab and the Gulf of Aqaba coast. Foreign buyers get a long-term right to use a property (usufruct) for a fixed term. In mainland Egypt, foreigners can own up to two homes of up to 4,000 m² each.
What areas of Sharm do you cover?
Airport pickups cover 15 areas of Sharm El Sheikh: Hadaba, Old Market, Sharm El Maya, Ras Um Sid, Tower Bay, Garden Bay, Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, White Knight Beach, El Fanar, Montazah, Domina Coral Bay, Soho Square, Ras Nasrani and Nabq Bay. Some tours go further, for example to Ras Mohammed or Dahab. Staying somewhere else? Type your hotel or address on the booking form and we price it by road distance.
How do I cancel or change a booking?
Use Change booking or Cancel booking on your booking page (the link is in your booking email). Changes are free up to 12 hours before the pickup; if a change costs more, you pay only the difference. Cancel at least 48 hours before your pickup and we refund your payment in full straight away. Later than that, WhatsApp us: a cancellation fee may apply, and we tell you the amount and refund the rest.
Do you rent properties short-term to tourists?
Not yet. Homes for sale and rent will appear on our Real Estate page as owners and agents list them.
Is Sharm El Sheikh safe for family travel right now?
Millions of holidaymakers visit Sharm every year. Before you travel, read your government's current travel advice for Egypt, such as the UK Foreign Office advice, because some parts of the Sinai outside Sharm carry stronger warnings.
