Is there a shared shuttle option?
Sharm Connect arranges private transfers only, so there is no waiting for a full shuttle and no unplanned stops.
Is this an airport taxi or a private car?
It is a private car with a driver, booked ahead at a fixed price per car. Some people call it an airport taxi or an airport limousine.
My hotel is not in these areas. Can I still book?
Yes. Type your hotel or address on the booking form. Any address in Sharm El Sheikh is $20 per car. Places farther away are priced by road distance from the airport: $10 plus $1 per km. Trips over 120 km are quoted on WhatsApp. A minivan, for 5 to 7 people or with child seats, is $5 more. Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba, St Catherine, Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada and Luxor have their own fixed price per car. Get a price for any hotel or address
Is it cheaper to book a taxi in advance or at the airport?
With a pre-booked transfer you know the price before you fly: $20 per car anywhere in Sharm for up to 4 people, or $25 for a minivan for 5 to 7, day or night. At the airport taxi rank the price is agreed with the driver on the spot, so it depends on the driver, the time of day and your bargaining.
Can I use Uber in Sharm El Sheikh?
Uber does not list Sharm El Sheikh among its cities in Egypt (checked October 2026). Other ride apps and local taxis work in Sharm, with prices in Egyptian pounds. A pre-booked Sharm Connect transfer has a fixed price in US dollars before you fly, and your driver waits in Arrivals with your name.
Can I pay in EUR, GBP or on arrival?
Prices are fixed in US dollars, and you pay online on your booking page by PayPal or card. There is no payment on arrival: the payment confirms your booking.
What about baby seats, minibuses, extra luggage?
Baby, child and booster seats only fit in a minivan, so choosing any seat books a minivan, which costs $5 more than a car. The seats are free. For extra luggage, add it to your request notes or tell us on WhatsApp, and we will confirm before your trip. The price per car covers a car for 1 to 3 people or an SUV for 4; a minivan for 5 to 7 people is $5 more. For 8 or more, WhatsApp us for a quote.
What if my flight is delayed?
Your booking stays confirmed. Send us your new arrival time on WhatsApp and we move your pickup to match.
Can I cancel my transfer?
Yes. Cancel on your booking page, or tell us on WhatsApp, at least 48 hours before your pickup time, and we refund your online payment in full. If you cancel later than that, a cancellation fee may apply. Cancellations and refunds
