11 October 20264 min read

Who flies to Sharm El Sheikh this winter and from which airports: easyJet, Jet2, TUI, Wizz Air, Corendon and Join UP!, with start dates and flying days.

Sharm El Sheikh has a long list of new and returning direct flights this winter. Below is every new or returning route we could confirm from an airline, an airport or the travel trade press, grouped by country. We checked each one in October 2026. Schedules change, so always check the airline's own website before you book.

United Kingdom

easyJet

  • Glasgow: twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, since 1 August 2026. The announcement does not say whether it runs all winter, so check with easyJet.
  • Belfast International: twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, from 25 October 2026. easyJet is the only airline flying from Belfast International to Sharm.
  • Edinburgh: once a week, on Tuesdays, from 10 November 2026.
  • London Southend: twice a week, Mondays and Fridays, from 4 January 2027.

easyJet holidays sells packages on these routes as well as flights.

Jet2 returns to Egypt for the first time since 2011. Year-round flights to Sharm El Sheikh start on 11 February 2027 from Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Manchester. London Gatwick was added in December 2025, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays. Leeds Bradford is a route only Jet2 flies; from Edinburgh, easyJet also flies to Sharm from 10 November 2026. You can buy flights only or a Jet2holidays package.

TUI restarted direct flights from East Midlands to Sharm El Sheikh on 26 March 2026, on Mondays and Thursdays, and keeps the route in its winter 2026/27 programme.

Germany

Before you fly

  • Visa: if you fly into Sharm and stay less than 15 days in Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba or Taba, you get a free entry stamp at the airport. For trips beyond these resorts, such as Cairo or Luxor, you need a full visa. Our visa checker explains which one you need.
  • Clocks: the UK puts its clocks back on 25 October 2026, but Egypt only on the night of Thursday 29 October. From 25 to 29 October, Sharm is three hours ahead of the UK instead of two. Check your pickup time in Egypt time.
  • Getting to your hotel: a car from the airport to Naama Bay takes about 15 to 25 minutes. A fixed-price pickup, booked before you fly, means no haggling after a long flight.
